My name is Christiana Aprozeanu, Director and Legal Practitioner.
I commenced with Ross Legal in 2009 whilst finishing my university Degree. After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2010 and being admitted to practice as an Australian Legal Practitioner in 2011, I continued as Solicitor at Ross Legal and later, Senior Associate. In July 2021 I became Director and sole practitioner of Ross Legal.
I am a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and have presented at community seminars on practical points of law most pressing to the public.
Having exclusive involvement in the practice for the past 13 + years, I have grown not only to refine my legal skills but to gain a full appreciation of our clients, their needs and concerns. This has fostered an understanding of how best to assist them across a range of legal needs. Our greatest joy is referrals from clients and acting for generations of clients too.
I know you did not Google ‘legal practitioner near me’ for fun. I know you must be going through a trying time in your life and juggling emotional aspects of a separation or a loss, with a fear or hesitation of what the future may hold. This is understandable and normal. The process should therefore not be rushed and I take the time to really get to know you, my client, because your particular position is always going to differ to my other clients’. I believe this is essential as we work together to achieve an outcome that, as close as possible, can dovetail with your requirements. I also feel it is empowering and helpful for you to understand the law and how it applies to your set of circumstances. It allows you to participate in the process and to make informed decisions when it comes to the resolution of your matter.

Elizabeth (Elle) joined our Ross Legal Team in 2015. Elle is a qualified Accountant and graduated with her degree in Accounting from Melbourne University.
She has worked both in the Real Estate and Legal industry for over 27 years. She has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in accounting, business management, banking and finance administration. At Ross Legal she assists us with office and trust account requirements, Human Resources and office management procedures.
After hours, Elle is a very active person who enjoys quality time with her family.
Originally from Belfast, Nigel graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Ancient Languages and the Dead Sea Scrolls. In 1981, he obtained his Law Degree completing a Bachelor of Laws at Monash University. Nigel was admitted to practice in 1982. Nigel’s forte was ‘thinking outside the square’ to resolve legal issues. He assisted with the Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC) and served on the Board of the City of Knox Multi-Cultural Committee.
Regrettably, he passed away in 2020.
Christiana Aprozeanu, the current Director of Ross Legal, commenced her legal career under the supervision and guidance of Nigel Ross in 2009. She has absorbed the wisdom, knowledge and compassion during this time which will continue to be applied in the practice for many years to come.
